I purchased the Horsehide Strop in unison with the JA Henckels Straight Razor. I think it’s a wonderful high quality Strop that does not require a lot of maintenance. It’s a heavier draw Strop than that of Cowhide, but I think that’s a positive thing. Razor Emporium offers other Strops that have different levels of draw for those that want something else, but I delight in this option. It feels and appears vintage. Sometimes I prefer vintage gear over its more modern counterparts.

Just hands down the best strop i have ever bought, the strops commercially available here in the uk are a joke they cost more money and you get less for it but not with the razor emporium strops i known from experience that if you want the best quality combined with a product built to last including replacement parts buy american made every time
