The Gillette Double Ring was the first safety razor from King C. Gillette. The razor was manufactured from 1903 - 1905 and originally came in a white cardboard box.

Later they were sold in Lithographed metal tin and then beginning in 1904 started being sold in the more common black leather case. These sets are still very difficult to come by. Interestingly they feature different banners from Gillette's different offices: Boston, New York, and Chicago. The city would correspond with the advertising so Gillette could keep a close eye on which marketing dollar gave them the best return.

The rarest of these razors feature the original shipping box with cardboard blade banks and the original "Dull & Sharp" inscriptions.

These razor sets are incredibly rare scoring a 5 out of 5 for even a fair set. Common issues that effect the razor functionality are broken teeth, splitting handles, and broken cases.
