Ertan Süer got his start like many of us in the wetshaving community. He was dissatisfied with his shaves and needed a solution. In Turkey he was introduced to a 5/8' Filarmonica Straight Razor, and fell in love. His passion for straight razor shaving grew and so did his hunt for knowledge. This led him on a quest from Turkey to Germany and through France. He has trained with many great straight razor manufacturers and now his own superior straight razors. If you've experienced Le Grelot or Rasoir Sabre you may have experienced his craftsmanship before!

Extremely disappointing

I was sent this razor in error after ordering a different Ertan Suer blade. I had no way of knowing the mix up until I had completely unboxed it. I figured it wasn't going to be altogether different from the one I selected and decided to give it a shot. It's advertised as shave ready and I was skeptical of that upon studying it's edge but chocked it up to novice knowledge. I was right though and it was dull as a butter knife. Wouldn't cut stubble on my neck that a shark chrome double edge in EJ db85 went through like it wasn't even there. It just bends over the hair on my arm instead of cutting it. Hundreds of dollars is far too much money to pay for a DIY project. Do better Razor Emporium.
