What's stopping this from getting a 5 star rating is the balance on this thing. It seems like the whole stand is at an angle from the bottom platform and the manufacturer didn't think to adjust the angle of the part the brush would hang from to compensate for that. Instead, you feel like you HAVE to stick the stand up against a mirror(wall, whatever) in order to have it work the way it's supposed to. Other than that, it works fine once you stick it to a surface and it doesn't look bad either.

What's stopping this from being a five-star review is the balance, The top is tilted forward, at least on mine. You can get the brush to stay only if you are very careful how you let go of it, but then the slightest jostle and the brush slides right off. I stuck a piece of foam under the front edge of the foot, which tipped everything back, and now the brush stays put. Another minor criticism is the adhesive pad on the back. I think it would look better without it, for those of us who are just going to place it on a counter. That said, it is a nicely made item and complements my clear-handle brush.
