I purchased this alum product as a replacement for a small circular disk of alum that I've had for several years. I have used this "Alumen Stone" for a couple of shaves and I like it a great deal. The rectangular form factor feels much better to me. I feel like I have control of the alum block. It has an interesting smell. It feels silky when I run it over my cheeks, neck, and jaws. This is a good product and I'm pleased to have it.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get with this, but I was delighted once I tried it. The block is smooth and solid and best at have ever used. Definitely worth the price.
