How to Paint Numbers on Adjustable Gillette Safety Razors

Overtime the paint on your Gillette Adjustable Safety Razor can disappear, watch the video below to DIY! This restoration step is super easy and only requires a few supplies. The dial has stamped areas for numbers and dots, which means you can add back the original black, or get creative!

Supplies needed:

  • Toothpick
  • Paper Towel
  • Testers Enamel Model Paint Semi-gloss Black 

Step 1:

Mix up your paint with a toothpick, collect a moderate amount, and spread liberally over the numbers and dots.

Step 2:

Cut a paper towel into 1" x 2" sections. Pinch the dial between the paper towel and gently spin the razor picking up excess paint. Fold and repeat until no extra paint is left. 

Step 3:

Allow the dial to air dry for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
