Fatboy Razor looks fantastic in Rhodium finish. No imperfections , smoothened Shiny finish, looks like and works just as new razor . It's become my favourite razor along with the Rex's.

Mid-century Gillette was the best a man could get and this tops even than with a durable rhodium-replating. The Fat Boy shaves a dream, adjust up where you need a close shave, adjust down for sensitive areas. Great work by Razor Emporium!

Best de safety razor I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned a Jagger and an adjustable Merkur, which are both amazing razors, but this is by far the best. The top that opens with the twist at the bottom of the handle makes it very easy and satisfying to replace blades. This refurbished factory nickel model seems brand new - I can’t tell in the slightest that it was made 60 years ago. The BEST shave I’ve ever had. Worth every penny!

I ordered the Fatboy from Scotland, despite having closer sources because of the influence and passion of Matt’s videos and RE’s company ethos towards products that are priced for a reason. Received my F4 Fatboy today and was stunned when I saw how new it looked. This razor is 62 years old and it looks as if it was recently made. I shaved with it straight away and being a head shaver, I started on 1 but dialled up to 5 until I got the closeness and comfort I need. By contrast, my Slim is a 9. My first impressions were that it’s no surprise that the Fatboy is so revered by the wet shaving community, it’s perfect. The heft, the shave, the build… just total quality. The razor functions exceptionally well, the only thing I would improve is the dial on mine isn’t quite there compared to my L4 Slim which has a satisfying click through the dial and yes, I have slackened it first ;) Apart from that, it’s a stunning razor that has already jumped to top spot in my rotation, which includes the Rex Ambassador, Merkur Progress, Rockwell T2 and Henson AL13 Medium.
