This razor is great. The adjustability really helps get rid of irritation I had struggled with. As a teenager, the adjustability is amazing for when I may have an acne breakout and need a more mild shave on some parts of my face. I cannot recommend this razor enough!

There are only so many adjustable razors so I picked this one. Looks very classic and works great for a pseudo beginner. Love the variable blade because I don't always shave every day so its nice to have that option.

I have only used the new Mekur 50C razor 4 times but compared to my old Gillette Sensor-Excel cartridge (2 blade) razor it seems to result in a much better shave. It was getting hard to find blades for the old Sensor-Excel and I was not happy with the expensive 3 - 5 blade cartridge game. I found Razor Emporium.com and decided to give the old style double razor a try. Wish I had kept my old Gillette double blade razor that I used until the late '70's.
