Greetings! I have used an Omega synthetic brush which I bought in Italy many (over 15) years ago. I also experimented with a badger brush from another company, that did not work so well. But the Omega 621 badger brush I recently bought is really a step or two up. The thick, dense but fluffy and soft bristles really soak up a larger amount of water and shaving soap, creating a good thick and creamy lather. I did wash the brush with a good shampoo when I received it and that's made it nicer smelling and smooth. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!
