I have a light to medium beard and the Perma-Sharp supper knocked it out of the park for me one pass, and I was smoother than I’ve ever been.

Very nice blade. Right up there in sharpness and smoothness balance of the Astra Green and Blue, and seem to be on a par with the Gillette Silver Blue for sharpness. the GSB's are still my go to blade, but this one has forced its way into my rotation as there is very little difference between this and the GSBs. Definitely worth a try to see it it is your go to blade you've been looking for or a least a rotation worthy one for you.

Any played Gillette puts its own name on is a good blade. I find this to be the sharpest of any of the Gillette blades I've tried. You have to be extremely focused, extremely diligent, and extremely careful while using it. One slip of the concentration and you're cut.

My daily setup is a Rockwell 6S, #6 baseplate, and Feather blades. I dropped the Permasharp blade in on Monday, with about three days growth. Extremely smooth and comfortable; possibly better than my Feathers. The four following shaves (Tuesday-Friday) were also very good. Saturday (sixth shave) was dramatically worse: it was like shaving with a paint scraper. As long as I don't try to keep it in the razor too long, the Permasharp may be my new favorite blade.
