Razor Emporium Small Batch Shave Soap | Lavender

SKU: RE-S-Lav

Description

The Small Batch Shaving Soap line is the culmination of a decade in the wet shaving community. We've taken the best of the best from our favorite formulas and produced our own soaps right here in our Phoenix, AZ workshop. These shaving soaps are made entirely from scratch in house from natural and vegan ingredients. The lather quality is wonderful and it provides a clean, slick shaving surface without any heavy feeling on your skin or irritating after effects. With glycerin for glide and shea butter for skin conditioning and a great post-shave feel, this soap is a terrific addition to any shave den.

The Scent:

Lavender has a gentle smell that is floral, herbal, and evergreen woodsy at the same time. It has soft, powdery, and smokey notes as well. Some lavenders have a more medicinal camphor smell or a sweet smell, that is not our Lavender! This is a unisex scent made popular by centuries of high achieving manly men.

Ingredients:

Stearic acid, water, coconut oil, potassium hydroxide, glycerin, shea butter, fragrance, sodium hydroxide

Make it a set! We also sell matching Candle, Aftershave Balm, and Aftershave Splash!

    Great Soap

I have been using this lavender scented shaving soap for about a week now and WOW!!! I have been wet shaving for many years and have tried most soaps and creams on the market. I have my favorites but this is one of the most impressive soaps I have tried. The scent is a little strong but that is not a criticism but an observation as I really love the aroma of lavender. It lathers well, provides a very slick surface and allows for a really close shave. Anxious to try other scents. Wonderful product Matt. Keep creating.

    Great Shave! Funky Smell...

This shave soap provides an awesome lather and a very comfortable shave. I was excited to get it since I LOVE the smell of lavender. But unfortunately I can’t smell even a hint of lavender in this soap. In fact, the soap smells kinda weird. Not sure what it does smell like, but it’s not very pleasant. Granted, it’s not unbearable and I’m getting used to it. Still great to shave with. I just wish it had the lavender scent I hoped for.

    Lavender Shave Soap

I get tired of looking through the description and trying to find out what the scent is from a list of nebulous and rare ingredients. I like something that just states what it is: lavender. Good stuff.
