Big fan of RE shaving soaps, had never tried Lavender before so gave this one a try. Very, very, very nice! Sent is wonderful!

I've used a lot of different soaps in my day, and this is one of the most lush lathers I have used. I prefer it to "The Fat," and it is Vegan to boot. I have used this soap with both a straight razor and a double-edge razor, and it performed well with both, although given how much water it can take, I believe the straight razor is better served. The fragrance of the soap is good. I love lavender, so I expected that I would at least appreciate this scent. That said, this soap has less of a dedicated lavender flower scent and more of a lavender-style scent. It is good, just not what an essential oil smells like. That is likely because there are other scents in the soap, and it does not detract from the experience. Overall, I do recommend this soap for the average user. I do appreciate how it has worked over the handful of times that I have used it and I look forward to using it more as I knock out a couple of other soaps that I have in the queue first!
