    Gillette WW1 Replica Razor

I received my so called Gillette WW1 replica razor in the mail and was not pleased at all with my purchase. First of all the razor I received (after paying almost $60) is not the same one as pictured from Razor Emporiums catalog, the handle is the same one used in their WW1 Khaki set and is not the same one in the photograph. The top cap was machined to where the stabilizing pins do not fit into the base plate accurately and so the blade has to be forced fit into the the top cap and in the process the blade becomes jammed in there and is extremely difficult removing without using pliers or taking a chance in cutting your fingers. The base plate does not have the Gillette Diamond logo nor the Made In USA and the teeth on one side are bent.. In short the product that I received was not as advertised and after spending almost $60 I am extremely disappointed with Razor Emporium however I have been please with the other razors that I have purchased from them and will probably continue with them…..I just wish that their Gillette Fatboy razors would come down significantly on their prices.

    WW I Gillette Style Replica

Really a great razor. Shaves smooth and close. The only issue, is that blades have to be pried off when you’re done shaving. I can live with that.
