1955 definitely smells like 1955. Reminds me of my clean-smelling grandpa. It's unique, something I haven't found from any other brand. I think the soap base could be a little bit better. It's really soft, and the lather ends up being very airy and bubbly. It's possible that it's user error, though, so I'll keep practicing with it. Overall, very satisfied.

This tallow based soap is easy to later up , slick , and provides a nice buffer between blade and skin. Balm is a favourite - soothing without being greasy or too sticky. The slash is also a favourite. The scent of all of these products is clean and crips , and reminds me of freshly washed sheets.

I really like the balm. It sooths my face and smells great.
