I received the razor in a timely fashion. I installed a yellow label Feather blade and shaved with it. A very smooth shave with a light touch. It is a beautiful razor and looks good on display with my other razors. It is as good as my Rex Envoy stainless steel razor. I highly recommend it, and Razor Emporium provides excellent service.

So I am very new to using a safety razor. I’ve got 4 now, including this one. Got my feet wet with the King C Gillette, then tried the Henson AL13 with the medium plate, then tried this one. My 4th (and as of yet, unused) razor is the old faithful DE89. I absolutely love the shave I had with the SR-71! It is a quite hefty razor, which feels nice in the hand. For me, the shorter handle length is perfect! Did not feel too mild, or aggressive against my face. I used it with an Astra blade. I’ll be trying different blades in all of my razors, to see which combination I enjoy best. I would definitely recommend this razor! Thanks, Razor Emporium!!!

This is a good razor for beginners

Je suis agréablement surpris par l'efficacité de ce petit rasoir et à la fois impressionné par son extrême douceur ! Son poids conséquent lui confère un confort remarquable. Je recommande ce rasoir aux débutants et même à ceux plus expérimentés ! Toutefois, je note un léger défaut sur le pas de vis avec une impression de fragilité. Il ne faut vraiment pas hésiter !
