I received mine a few weeks ago and have been using it ever since. Razor Emporium did a fantastic job restoring the cap and open comb on this razor(mine is an F series and is therefore not a military issued razor) but could not straighten out the end tooth on one side of the open comb which if they or l had it would have broken off. At first I was nervous to use it as the 1918 open comb razor has a reputation of being a very aggressive razor but I was really surprised at how smooth and extremely efficient it is, I got the closest most comfortable irritation free shave I have ever gotten with any razor i have used. It is now my go to razor by default. Great job to Razor Emporium!!

I really like the repro handle. I have another old type, original handle. It does not have much grip. I had to go to a milder blade with the open comb.

I was excited to see the WWI style Khaki Kit make a return! And while I'm still on the hunt for an original Old Type in satin finish, this replica is a great stand-in. The razor is of excellent quality and I'm getting consistently great shaves with pretty much every blade. The khaki kit is great for throwing in my overnight bag and feels nicely made. As usual, customer service with Razor Emporium is top notch, I can't recommend them strongly enough!

I love this little piece of history. Not only is the whole thing very good quality, but it gives the best shave (in my opinion) of any of my other safety razers. Definitely gonna be gifting this out to friends
