I shaved with this for the first time today. It gave an excellent shave. How ever when I finished it became a wrestling match yo get the razor blade free from the top cap. The razor blade is getting caught up in the threads of the center post. The kit is great and the razor does provide a great shave. I gave a lower rating this time because of a safety issue. Hopefully this is a rare issue.

I'm happy to say that the kit was true to the pictures, just brilliant! I couldn't find a blemish on the razor and all the teeth on the open comb are straight. What else can I say other than i'm more than satisfied with my purchase.

Chuffed to bits with this little set. Unsurprisingly nice and compact, easy to sling into your washbag. The casing appears robust enough to withstand real world usage. For the actual razor, love it, its my first New but it's easily found a new home amongst my other vintages and moderns. Will not hesitate to order from the emporium again, excellent!

I was looking for just the pouch when I came across this set from Razor Emporium. I have been thinking of moving to an open combed razor and this seemed like the way to do it. As I was getting this as a case for my other razor,I wasn't sure if it would fit. It does. But,I have now moved over to using the refurbished razor supplied with this kit ans love it. The razor arrived looking brand new. Plating is good and the handle is very nicely done. Everything fits just perfectly into the pouch and buttons up compact and tight. I've used mirrors like the supplied one for years and was very happy it was a nice metal one and not a cheap,easily scratched plastic one. So, quility is great. The razor shaves very well. The kit is well constructed and made. Service was on point. Overall, a great experiance and I'm loving using this vintage razor. Thanks Razor Emporium!
