The Gentleman's Groom Room is a male grooming retail shop located in Dundee City Center, Scotland's fourth largest city: 'One City Many Discoveries'. The interior has a retro-apothecary feel with a friendly and professional atmosphere.
The Gentleman's Groom Room was established in the early part of 2006 by owner Ian Thomson. Ian trained for several years in the art of straight razor shaving with expert and master barber at Harrods in London when Mr Al Fayed had private ownership. Ian also has a professional knowledge of traditional Turkish wet shaving including singeing and was also instrumental in the creation of the Internationally renowned Essence of Scotland range of traditional shaving soaps.
The Soap:
This is a fantastic glycerin shaving soap specially formulated and custom blended with the main ingredients carefully selected. This luxury traditional shaving soap produces an excellent lather when used with a shaving brush. It perfectly prepares the skin for a close and comfortable shave. The product is enriched with conditioning and moisturizing properties, which will ensure the perfect shave.
Scent Profiles:
Scottish Heather: Heather, Natural honey, Mixed spices, Sweet orange, Beeswax and Patchouli.
Highland Bothy: Enriched and fragranced with Vetiver, Cedarwood, Mixed Spices, Natural Honey, Beeswax and Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Sweet Gale: Enriched and fragranced with Bog Myrtle, Natural honey, Mixed spices, Cedarwood, Beeswax and Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Mountain Yew: (as Juniper is known as in Scotland) traditional shaving soap, is a fantastic blend of Juniper, Cajeput, Mixed Spices, Natural Honey, Cypress and Fir. 50p from every sale of Mountain Yew Traditional Shaving Soap will go directly towards the regeneration and restoration of the Caledonian Forrest in the Highlands of Scotland and the new label proudly displays the Scottish conservation charity's logo.
Malt N Myrtle: Bog Myrtle, Natural honey, Mixed spices, Rosemary, Beeswax and Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The uplifting fragrant notes of Rosemary blend in perfectly with Bog Myrtle, Natural Honey and Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Only in production from the 1st of November to 1st of December, once all stock is gone this shaving soap will not be made again till 1st of November the following year.
