I am in the infant stage of straight razor shaving. I started with the gold dollar razor. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Buy this razor. I know it is probably more than you want to spend but you won’t regret it. Much better shave than the gold dollar.

This was the first razor I have purchased and I am blown away. Although the price is just north of $100 the quality and hand craftsmanship is felt with every pass. It truly took away the initial worry of straight razor shaving and gave me confidence. I do not feel as though I would be shaving as well as I am now with a Gold Dollar or a Dovo. The handle is the handle and for a first razor for learning you don't need fancy. the money is in the metal. German forged, German hand honed and finished, That's where you get the feeling of confidence with this razor.
