Excellent cream! Effortless to lather, slick and the scent is amazing. One to keep in your line up.

A bit spendy but really nice shave cream. Works well for me.

I have been a traditional wet shaver for many years and have tried many shaving products on all price levels. I have found many good products on both the low end and high end of the price spectrum. With that said, the line of Castle Forbes shaving creams in my view is by far and away the finest shaving cream on the market. Given that it is a large jar (6.8 oz.) and so little product is required for a great shave, it is a great value as well. The quality of C/F shave creams provide wonderfully smooth razor glide, excellent lubricity and cushioning and irritation free shaves. The wonderful scents are an added bonus. I use and enjoy a wide variety of shaving creams and soaps in my rotation but always look forward to the C/F shaves. I think the quality of their creams with essential oil fragrance is simply the best. The Lime cream is delightful and clearly the best lime fragranced cream on the market. It is a wonderful warm weather shave treat. I highly recommend this cream and think that you will be rewarded with wonderful shaves when you try it for yourself.

It's soft like a creme but its also somewhat hard as a soap. I would consider it really in the middle of both. The lime smell isn't that bad as some people have described, you just need to like the smell of lime.
