    Great started DE razor!

Based on recommendations, have this as my first DE razor + sample blades. Good weight, easy first shave. No irritation afterwards, unlike w/ my disposables!

    Beautiful

A beautiful razor. I use this with a polsilver blade and shaves great. This is my second DE razor and will be using it for a long time. This is very mild on my irritation prone skin. A 2 pass shave with this leaves me mostly stubble free. A third pass leaves my neck and jaw line irritated. The knurling on the handle is subtle but i don't find it hard to hold or slippery. Lather and hair is easily rinsed out with a little water. Very happy with this razor.

    Would recommend!

This is my first safety razor and I did my first safety razor shave with it tonight. I am very pleased and would gladly recommend this razor!

    Very pleased

I've been using a Merkur 23c which I really liked, but this one seems even better and it's workmanship is nicer. Very easy to handle and excellent shaves. I used Derby Extra blades the first few times and they were just right for me-not a single nick. Then, I made what turned out to be a mistake and tried a Feather-it was too sharp and aggressive for me. It butchered my face, a lot of nicks. So, it's back to Derby and I think that's where I'll stay!
