Smooth

Not sure if it's my adjusted technique I'm using with the Blackbird or it's this blade but the combo is working. I've been a wet shave for almost two years and my old standby has been Astra Green. For me it was the smoothest I've tried up until now. This blade feels great, very smooth and with no irritation. What a find. I do get a sense that it may not last my normal 4-6 shave per blade but with this performance it's worth it. I'm excited to keep using it as well as the others in my recent purchase. Wizamet SI, 7 o'clock Platinum's, BIC Chrome Platinum, Gillette Silver Blues & Lord Platinum are soon to be sampled. Cheers!

An improvement over the Gillette yellow

But only marginally. It’s a bit sharper but still not particularly smooth. I usually alternate between Astro Platinum and feathers. But I also love other blades in the Gillette line. This just isn’t one of them. It’s not quite smooth enough. Still creates a bit of burn.

Woo-wee

I love a blade that's the perfect marriage between sharp and smooth as these are just that. These are def going into my rotation. I also am digging the Rapira super stainless.

Nice Blades

I generally alternate between Astra Blue, Astra Green and Feather blades. I decided to give these blades a try after watching a few online reviews. After around 12 shaves with these blades, I'd say they are comparable to the Astra Greens. Very smooth, sharp and comfortable.
