Received the item in good condition. Not as shiney as In the picture. I may just need to get use to it but as of now, itshaves well. I get a closer shave with my Mukur Futur or Parker Variant. I'll just be patient and continue forward. Nice razor however, I don't think it's worth the money.

This a piece of American history and my first DE safety razor. I fell into the rabbit hole of YouTube and found out that the fat boy was one of the best designs of all time, so I figured what better way to start wet shaving than with the best. This thing is so beautiful. If you have never seen rhodium in person before its phenomenal and doesn't stain or tarnish. I was originally about to buy a Henson and I'm glad I changed my mind. I'm military and I have to shave every day. When I tell you this is the closest shave, I have ever had in my life I'm not kidding. Do your research, wet shaving does take a little practice, but the results are well worth it!!
