The bristles are soft and not harsh. Does not lose very many bristles. Of course some will come out while lathering but, after two or three uses, all good! Retains it shape very well and does stay flared out after lathering. The slide over travel cover works great!

An outstanding product and a tremendous value!

This brush worked superbly on my first use, feels amazing on the face when loaded up. I have owned one other brush before this which is a synthetic knot. It worked okay but not near as well as this brush performed. I am of course going through the break in period so the boar hair sheds and stinks a little when wet but I know that will go away after time. If you like your brush to have some backbone while being soft on the face this is a good choice, plus it will be great to take on any travels. I had not problem whipping up a good lather because of the stiffness. If you are on a tight budget and just need something that works or would like a good travel brush, consider this brush.

What a Fantastic Travel Brush! Great size and it really whips up a great lather. The plastic tube it slides into is perfect to protect it in your travel bag. Amazing deal for $10. And if it were to get lost at the airport, I would buy another one! Excellent!
