I quite liked this brush after a one shave learning curve. The key for me was soaking it in warm water for a few minutes to hydrate the bristles so they did not pull water out of the shaving lather I was trying to build. With that preparation I very much liked the texture while building a lather and massaging my face. The travel fold of the brush is quite effective, though one should shake excess water from the brush before folding it, and ideally give it some time to dry before tossing it back in a dopp kit.

Works great for travel. Great quality at a reasonable price.
