*New for Summer 2019* The Parker “Semi-Slant” double edge safety razor has the advantages of a slant bar razor (more cutting surface on each whisker due to the blade angle) without the aggressiveness and dramatic blade exposure associated with other slant razors. This razor delivers an incredibly close and comfortable shave.
Parker’s Semi-Slant safety razors are milder than the typical slant, combining the best of a slant razor and a conventional safety razor. Since the blade angle is torqued, this razor cuts the hair at an angle instead of straight on, resulting in a very efficient shave. The Semi-Slants are great for those with thicker, more coarse hair, as well as for wet shavers with sensitive skin. We recommended using very little pressure when shaving with our Semi-Slant for excellent results.

I enjoy the advantages of slant razors . A clean smooth shave in one pass even with a couple of days growth. So I wanted to add this razor to my slant razor collection. The parker rose gold semi slant is an attractive razor. I found it to be an aggressive razor so an non aggressive blade works best for me in it. I would never use a feather blade in this razor. I like a light razor (love my Bakelite PAA open comb slant) so I was some what off putted by the 90 gram weight and length . So I use the Parker head with Razor Emporiums ball end handle . Still I find the heads base plate a little needlessly heavy. However if you like a heavy razor and want to dip your toe into slants you might love this razor.
