Very nice razor, particularly for the price. Comes in four parts - two for the handle and two for the head - and assembles solidly. Blade angle is above average aggressive, but not dangerously so. Afforded a very nice, close shave with travel compactness. Recommended.
Very nice and compact. I’m enjoying the shave more than with my ‘66 Gillette Slim.
A great little very compact razor that is well made and takes up virtually no room in your travel bag . 4 piece design , head , cap , and two piece short handle that screws together . A good design and shave quality . You may also want to look at the Merkur travel razor of almost identical design
So I'm only about 4 or 5 months into shaving with DE razors. I got this about a month or so back because I needed a razor to keep in my dopp bag that goes to the station with me (I'm a Firefighter) being as it's only for emergency use compact portability was paramount to me. It can't be denied as far as anything made TODAY it doesn't get much smaller, the leather case is well made and the two piece handle is genius, especially considering how obvious a move it is.
On to the shave, I was almost reluctant to try it out because honestly I'm spoiled by my Rex Ambassador razor. Today I loaded up a Personna Lab Blue and slicked up with shave butter (I normally use Proraso) but since for portability that's what I keep in my bag it's what I used. I can honestly say it was a comfortable and really close shave.
I'm not sure how to rate the agressiveness it's a little harsher than my Ambassador at the 3 setting so using that as the standard (the Ambassador should be what all razors are measured by) I'd guess it's "moderate". It handles like a full size razor, it has decent weight and is pretty maneuverable, I suppose it could be a go to razor if it needed to be.
So for a travel razor it doesn't get much better.
I found the Parker Travel Safety Razor completes my collection. Easy to use and handles very well. Close shave without any Irritation.
I love the leather case and the razor looks nice when assembled. The weight is perfect! But it is a bit aggressive. I have a Parker 76R and I need a light touch with that because it's a fairly hefty razor but it's less aggressive than the travel razor. I have to go slow with this. I go very slow and steady using a feather light touch. So far, the only nicks I've received were on top of cuts from a previous bad shave I gave myself. Except for that, it gives a smooth shave but it's still new and I've only tried it a couple of times with Shark blades. The handle is short as most travel razors are but I like the maneuverability that gives me around sensitive areas. The leather case is good quality but it could use a place to the hold blades.
