This is my second tube of Proraso shaving cream from RE in the last several months. The first tube was awesome - firm white paste with a good consistency and lots of staying power. My most recent purchase suggested something had changed. The cream from this tube is yellowish instead of the previous white and the consistency is almost runny. I'm not sure if the formula has changed or if this tube was exposed to extreme temperature swings, but it has all the markings of having spent time in a swap meet shipping container! It still works OK, but doesn't lather up as well, nor does it reconstitute when more water is added as well as the first tube. It gets the job done, but certainly seems to be a lower quality than before.

It gives a nice dense lather with just the right slickness for DE safety razors, Smell good and harsh redness afterwords.

Not sure what the deal is but I got a chewed up box, previously opened by a dog or something. Don't know if this product is usually sealed or not, but mine wasn't. Tried it anyway and it actually was great to shave with. Great product, and if I am to keep using it, I know to purchase elsewhere.

I’ve used proraso for years. It lathers up thick and creamy. Love the aroma and chilly feel on my face after I shave. I have no reason to try a new brand
