Razor Emporium

Razor Emporium Small Batch Shave Soap | Sandalwood

SKU: RE-S-Sand

Description

The Small Batch Shaving Soap line is the culmination of a decade in the wet shaving community. We've taken the best of the best from our favorite formulas and produced our own soaps right here in our Phoenix, AZ workshop. These shaving soaps are made entirely from scratch in house from natural and vegan ingredients. The lather quality is wonderful and it provides a clean, slick shaving surface without any heavy feeling on your skin or irritating after effects. With glycerin for glide and shea butter for skin conditioning and a great post-shave feel, this soap is a terrific addition to any shave den.

The Scent:

Sandalwood is the number 1 best selling scent in the shaving world and for great reason, Sandalwood is a deep, woody scent and often smells like a mix of rich earth, balsamicsoft, and creamy accents. Because of its enticing masculine scent, it is often used a base note in many iconic perfumes and colognes.

Ingredients:

Stearic acid, water, coconut oil, potassium hydroxide, glycerin, shea butter, fragrance, sodium hydroxide

Make it a set! We also sell matching Candle, Aftershave Balm, and Aftershave Splash!

Razor Emporium Small Batch Shave Soap | Sandalwood

I really like sandalwood and I really like the slickness, cushion and easy to lather qualities of RE shaving soaps. This is a very good sandalwood and is in my rotation (that also includes TOBS and Proraso sandalwood lol). So you could say it has taken its rightful place right up there with some of the best shaving soaps in the world! To me the fragrance is just right - not to strong, not to faint. Recommend you give this one a try along with the rest of the RE soaps (Old School, Barber Shop, Lavender I also highly recommend1).

Takes a while to whip up

This is a great shave soap , makes a rich lather and pleasant scent . A joy to shave with on a Sunday morning!

    Smells like PLASTIC

Smells overwhelmingly like plastic when you open the lid. After about 10 seconds I was able to catch the sandalwood scent. Even then, the sandalwood isn't incredible. I don't think I'll be getting much use from this one.
