This stand is very well made - very heavy weight and very attractive: It complements the high quality and beautiful craftsmanship of the Rex razors. It certainly functions well, it is very heavy and provides a solid platform for the razor. A drawback is that the “footprint” is rather large, so if you don’t have a lot of counter space, you might want to consider an alternative with a smaller base diameter.

I love this stand. I have two, one for my Ambassador and one for my Konsul.

The stand is not only well made and heavy but looks great holding my Ambassador razor, even my wife likes it!

This is a good stand, don't get me wrong. It works beautifully on the Rex razors. But I don't think it needed to be so heavy. And maybe that weight is why its so expensive? Because really if it was lighter, and cheaper, it would still be a super solid stand. We're shelling out a fair bit on the razors, the stand shouldn't be this expensive. Even if this is the cheaper edition!
