Our gold plating is hard acid gold which allows for good wear and brightness. We plate exclusively in 24 Karat, the purist form of the element Au (Gold) at 99.9%. It has the highest luster of that deep and rich yellow color. Cleaning of the razor would be similar to any gold jewelry; best carried out by a professional or specialized Gold cleaning products. Rhodium is a metal in the platinum family. It is a bright white shine that will not tarnish like silver. It rates high on the Moh's scale of hardness and is brilliantly shiny.

Effortlessly Efficient

I wasn’t necessarily skeptical when purchasing this slant, rather I was anticipatory. I’ve tried some slants before and didn’t find that I got enough blade feel. Men’s beards have different needs. I have very coarse beard hair, and it runs it all kinds of directions, and so need a very efficient razor with blade feel that can do the work. I also have very sensitive neck skin too. While I had settled on the Tatara Masamune Nodachi (both open and closed comb) I thought I would give another slant a try. The Sentry is everything I hoped it would be. Effortlessly efficient, smooth, enough blade feel, kind to my sensitive skin. It’s a real keeper. While I cannot speak for hair conditions on other men’s faces, if you’re like me, this could be a winner in your shave den. Great, quick delivery too! Give it a try.

Best in Class!

The Sentry slant razor is amazing! I've been collecting razors for years but was resistant to try "slant" razors. I didn't understand them, thought they were "strange." I bought this mainly to complete or balance my collection but WOW! This razor gives the closest, smoothest, all-round nicest shave of any of the 50+ razors in my collection! It's smoother, has less irritation and cuts closer than any of them! Highly recommended! Wish I had tried this "new-fangled" innovation a long time ago. It's become my daily driver, my favorite all-round daily shaver. You won't be disappointed!

Rex - Sentry Slant

Had been considering a slant razor for several months. After a bit of research, I decided on the Rex Sentry. Wow!! Glad I did. High quality razor, stainless marine grade steel. This is one smooth shave!!!!
