I was hesitant to purchase because I heard Dovo doesn't sharpen their razors very well and there was another review that said as much. Thankfully, this razor arrived shave ready. I got the blue one. I wanted to know how stainless steel feels compared to carbon steel. I like the stainless steel better because my hair type is coarse and I have sensitive skin. My other SR is a Boker Wenge which gives a great shave but this Dovo is even better. If I could compare the shave sensation to anything it would be like my DE Rex Konsul, smooth and effortless.

It came unsharpened. There isn’t even a cutting edge formed on the blade - straight from forging. It took a long time to horn an edge on it. Customer service tried to pin the problem on me asking if I know how to use a straight edge razor. This is the last time I will buy anything from razor emporium.
