Introducing Valley Forge.  As Bricktown Groooming’s newest addition, it highlights the vital role Valley Forge played in American Independence.

During the winter of 1777 to 1778, Washington camped with his troops at Valley Forge, nearly twenty miles north of Philadelphia.  The British had taken the capital of Philadelphia and the Continental Congress would not support Washington with resupply.  His army was freezing, sick, and starving.  It was a most despairing position from which to lead.  Images of bloody footprints in the snow, soldiers huddled around lonely campfires, and Washington on his knees, praying that his army might survive often come to mind when people hear the words "Valley Forge."  The Marquis de Lafayette, a young French nobleman (namesake of my Lafayette Barbershop fragrance), organized officers from France, Poland, and other European nations into the Corps d'Étrangers.  All forces joined, and a fortuitous overspreading of British forces, Washington led his army from Valley Forge well trained and in fighting shape to retake Philadelphia.

This Valley Forge scent is woody, spicy, and warm…everything the men and women who forged our nation needed and had and needed during one of the most pivotal moments in our military history.

Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Water, Coconut Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Glycerin, Fragrance
