I've been shaving with GEM razors for about two months now, with both a Micromatic Open Comb and a Featherweight. These blades do not perform very well in either razor. I can't compare against the old GEM coated blades (I haven't tried them) but compared with current production AccuTec coated blades these are noticeably less sharp... or, at the very least, they drag on your face the same way that a dull blade does, and it's difficult to get a close shave. The one saving grace of these blades is that they don't seem to irritate my face too much (at least if you don't do a ton of buffing) which is a Godsend for my MMOC. My Featherweight, however, has better results with the Accutec blades.

Have had these blades before and they were great, but this batch must not of gone through last shapening stage - pulling and lots of blood - wont be buying again
