I have tried every imaginable shaving system available to no avail. This sensitive skin shaving kit has produced the best results that I have ever achieved. I would highly recommend this kit and watch the YouTube video for sensitive skin.

First saw this kit on YouTube while trying to find a solution to constant razor burn I get on my neck. I am very happy to report that this is the solution. After s a little bit of user error resulting in a cut or a nick, I had the best shave of my life. As recommended I have tried each of the blades and found the one for me. Also, after experimenting with a few different pre shave routines, I am happy to report that the cold water works much better for my skin than the warm water. This is the routine for me. I will never be going back to regular razors.

Bottomline this kit is an excellent start for those who want to get into wetshaving and have problems with sensitive skin and ingrowns. I’ve always had the issue of ingrowns on my lower neck when I used to shave with disposable razors and basic shaving gel. The pre shave cream of this kit is excellent as well as the aftershave balm. Since the balm has no alcohol it’s very refreshing on my skin. The Merkur adjustable safety razor withbth right blade for you (Astra blades for me) makes the shave smooth and easy. For people like me having the ability to adjust the razor head for more sensitive areas is a huge plus. 10/0!!

After decades of using cartridge razors I finally had a chance to switch to DE razors. I had been reluctant to change because of my sensitive skin, but this kit has been perfect. I never expected such a great shave! The Merkur Progress is comfortable. The blade samples are helping me discern what I like in a blade. The Proraso products are spectacular - the pre-shave feels great, the tube of cream seems like it will last forever, and the post-shave balm is really soothing. The only itty-bitty disappointment was that I received a boar hair brush instead of the Razor Emporium badger brush (and I didn't realize it until a few shaves into using the brush). Overall, I'm very satisfied and grateful that this kit exists.
