Lather: 5.0 Aroma: 3.5 Shave: C+ Onward in my project to rate most soaps/creams on this site. If anybody wants one rated sooner than later, I am not above donated soaps/creams. Zero agenda, and I try to explain my ratings, although am open to questions. I had high hopes for this one. It didn’t quite deliver as detailed to follow. Red plastic container which clasps on directly; not a twist-on. Not difficult to open. Loaded my Silvertip badger brush and it lathered fair to good in the cup, but the larger didn’t seem to hold on application. This was consistent over multiple shaves. Some soaps seem to face this issue. The aroma is a subtle creamy, butter scent. It doesn’t last throughout the day perceptibly. Not unpleasant during the shave, just not captivating in any sense. A bit underwhelming. If you are a ‘less is more’ guy on the aroma, your rating may improve in this regard. The shave was fair but impacted by the lathering. That’s my verdict.

I've always been a canned soap user and will never go back. This is now my go to soap. Love the subtle scent of Sandalwood and how quick /thick it lathers.

I also have the green version and they are both very good soaps, Easier to lather than many soaps. The lather is thick and slick. Also very reasonably priced for the quality!

Figured for $10, and a lot of love from others, it was worth a try. What a pleasant surprise. Great slickness and very good cushion. Easy to lather and by adding a little water as the shave progress it stayed slick and protective. It looks like this tub will last a long time. And the scent was one of the most interesting takes on sandlewood that I've come across, has just the right amount of menthol, and lasts to the end of the shave.
