This has a wonderful citrus smell that makes the shave enjoyable. It makes a great lather and provides good slickness and comfort. Highly recommend this shave soap!

I have been wet shaving for about 12 years, have tried many soaps and creams - this is by far the best I have ever used. Wonderful lather during shave, and great skin feel afterward.

This got to be the sixth soap I have tried from their small batch soaps and it paired well with my Muhle R41. I was a bit surprised when opening it that it had less soap in the tub than usual. Not their fault though and still does not change my mind on their soaps. Thanks again for another great product. ?

I ordered this soap from Pasteur's and it arrived this afternoon. I let it warm up due to the extreme cold. The scent off the puck is a very light, citrus with something unnatural (chemicals... Perhaps something from a Pool? I can't place where I've smelled it before). The soap is devoid of sweetness, even though it is a citrus fruit scent. I scooped a tiny bit and lathered it, hoping the scent would improve. Unfortunately, it is more of the same - with a stronger dose of whatever that added, unnatural, scent is. Still, no sweetness. I cannot fathom using this at all, so into the garbage it goes. What a waste.
