Love this brush
When it comes to best badger this is a great brush!
Great backbone, the brush isn't overly stuffed but it has plenty enough to create a firm face feel while allowing for great flow. After breaking it in the scritch is gone, this brush whips up a great lather with soaps and creams. It , like all of my Semogue brushes are an amazing value! As you can see, the handle is on the smaller side but due to the shape it still fits well in my hand. And it has a great classic look from the black and clear Lucite. If you are looking for a best badger, you can't go wrong with this one. Semogue delivers again!! -
Pretty Good Brush
This is my first shaving brush. What a difference using one will make to your shave! It holds water well and lathers well. If it is not wet it has a decent backbone, but once it is wet the backbone is almost completely gone. As I mentioned this is my first brush, so that may be normal, but I was under the impression that the backbone was supposed to stay even when wet. In spite of that it still works well as a brush. I almost wish I went with a smaller brush though because this covers quite a lot of ground and does not leave much room for detailing if you do not shave your entire face. The logo is just a simple sticker, which was a little disappointing, but upon inspection it is clear in the online pictures and should not have been a surprise to me. I was worried about an odor because I have heard real badger hair brushes will initially have an odor to them. I did not have any kind of odor on mine! It smelled like hair, but it was not odorous or gross-smelling in any way. Overall I'm very pleased with it as a first brush.
