I had two synthetic knots installed during a recent revamp service. The fibers are soft on the face, but scratchy enough to work well with a croap. There is also enough backbone so the knot doesn't flop around or bend too much as you apply the lather. I think they're excellent knots.

Hard to rate, never received it. It’s been a few weeks now and no replacement has been sent or refund offered.

Synthetic knot was used to restore old Made Rite brush. Knot fit was perfect and restored brush looks awesome!

I had this knot put into a Rubberset 400-3 as part of the brush refurbish service. It’s a great performer. It’s densley packed and retains heat well. There is plenty of backbone relative to the loft. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite brushes.

This was the second brush I had sent in for revamp, 2 fantastic jobs.

I am very pleased with the new knot that was installed to refurbish my 23 year old shaving brush. The old knot was getting thin and just wouldn't let me build up lather. It only took Razor Emporium about a week and the job they did was excellent. Getting a new knot on my existing handle was much cheaper than buying a new brush. I'm quite pleased and plan on patronizing Razor Emporium in the future .
