I've shaved twice with this and I'm not impressed at all. The first shave I used a dollop as recommended and could not get a good lather. The second time I used more like 2 dollops and I was able to get a thin layer of thick foam going. But there isn't a lot of slickness to this cream.

Gave the gunpowder spice version multiple tries, and could not get an enjoyable shave while using it. Tried varying amounts of water, face lather as well as pre-lathering, and never got either a good lather nor lubrication from it. I used it on both my head and face, and every time it was uncomfortable to use. I tried with both a rockwell 6s, and a parker 55sl slant, and with feather, astra, and timor blades, all new, and it made the whole shave routine not only unpleasant, but it took nearly twice as long due to having to switch soaps to get an acceptable finish. TLDR: Not reccomended

Amazing scent, amazing performance. I love THB's shaving cream so much, I've expanded out into their aftershave and pre-shave (Snake Oil) lines, too. You'll love it.
