This razor shaves as good as my REX Konsul. However, there are some things I don't like about it. The handle is thin and slippery. Also, it doesn't do very well near my nostrils. Best razor ever for shaving my head though. I use it on my face but use the Konsul to get under my nose and shape my beard. The razor itself is surprisingly heavy. The blades are easy to change.

Absolutely overhyped. Got mine today, the spring In the pivot head is too weak and the angle is wrong, you have to press hard to get it at the right angle. I tried it with 3 blades down to one, managed to cut my head and face up. Gouged my face with the sharp edges that stick out, had to finishwith my bic disposable to get my mustache and the hair it missed. Absolutely sucked.

The Leaf razor was recommended to me by an expert wet shaver and I took a chance on it to see how it compared to cartridge & DE razors I’ve used. I have to say, this is the best razor I’ve used to shaved my head. I load it with three blades so I can get the closet shave and it’s not scary at all. I give this razor and A+ For smoothness, comfort and closeness.

Once you get used to the head angle, it's amazingly easy to get a BBS shave with 3 of the blades loaded that came with the Leaf. It is big, though, and using a fourth half blade in a Twig razor is the best way to deal with fine details. Seems well made but I'll probably get the flexible sheath for the handle...it doesn't provide a lot of grip. Overall a great shave and very easy to use.
