A well-made high quality razor.

This gives a great head shave and that is what it is for. If you need detail work that is where you also have the smaller leaf razors or a regular DE razor. The leaf is for when you are shaving large areas and want to have the ease of a cartridge. Yes I can get BBS out of this with ease. The included blades are OK but try normal DE blades for even better shaves, they snap in half easily and little magnets hold them in place while you load the razor.

I wanted a razor that didn’t use plastic cartridges but would also allow me to shave my head more recklessly/faster than my safety razors. This razor is quite amazing for that. Yes.. I can get a better shave with my other razors. But my other razors require attention and a slower pace. This Leaf razor allows me to QUICKLY shave my head with zero concerns. Great shaving cream, travel trash, dry shaving… whatever. I can apply quite a bit of force and have yet to nick myself. Because of this, I shave regularly (almost daily now), it takes no time at all and feels great. I couldn’t recommend this razor more. I also got the silicone grip because I’m careless at times and I wanted to ensure it doesn’t slip. 100% happy with this purchase

Coming from Hary's this is to mild for me. It needed the feather blades in all 3 spots to get even close to what I'm used to. The area above the blades is to large preventing comfortable lip shaving. It's well made and as advertised, just not a good fit for me. Now I hope the wife likes it for her legs?!
