When I say not mild, that doesn't mean you'll cut you're face up. This was the 3rd DE razor blade I've ever used and it beat the previous two by far (Astra Green and Derby Extra, not a fan cause they caused me irritation. I didn't get those two from here though). I had literally just 2 or 3 nicks on the first shave with the Voskhod, compared with at least 6+ for the other two. On the second shave with it I had even less nicks (maybe 1 but I think none) and virtually no irritation. Most likely will purchase again.

I have used many DE blades and none have been as smooth as the Voskhod for me. Very forgiving blade and absolutely no irritation for me. Using in my Parker Variant at the 2 setting and get a very close and smooth shave. For whatever reason I had low expectations for this blade and was blown away with how comfortable the shave was with it. Highly recommended and if you had a bad experience, give it another try.

I tried these in my Parker Variant adjustable razor. Even on the lowest setting, these pulled and tugged. Definitely not for me.

Just tried this with my DE89 and I have to say that it should be a 2 instead of 3 on sharpness, I not an expert but I have these with the sample pack and I have tried from mild and up, so far I'm at 3 and I think Astra Green are better than this. It left some spots uncut even after several passes, at the end just felt uncomfortable.
