I was hesitant to purchase a glycerin style shaving soap but after reading the product description I was overcome with curiosity. I gave only used it once so far but this product didn't disappoint me, it had a good lather but I did need to get the soap wet along with the brush to get the lather going, it gave pretty good cushion and add the title suggests, it had a very interesting scent that grows on you. I'll look at purchasing additional scents.

Malt & Mrytle shaving soap is an amazing product. The scent immediately grabs your attention once you open the container. It hooks you when you put the creamy lather on your bread. The lather easily lasts between 3 and 4 passes. An amazing product that delivers what it promises - the foundation to a great shave. I will gladly use Essence of Scotland products in the future. (As an added benefit, after using the soap I tried the Abernathy scotch which is used in its mixture and was pleasantly pleased.)
